These terms govern your use of HomeTrackIt, a service operated by TexTrack Inc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
HomeTrackIt is a record-keeping tool for property maintenance. It stores the repairs, receipts, warranties, contractors, inventory, valuables, and maintenance schedules that you enter, and returns them to you on request.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. Tell us promptly at support@textrack.us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Your content is yours
You keep all rights to the records, photos, and documents you upload. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, process, back up, and display that content back to you, and to deliver it to a recipient when you initiate a transfer. We do not claim ownership and do not use your content for any other purpose.
Acceptable use
Do not upload content you have no right to upload, use the service to break the law, attempt to access other users’ data, probe or disrupt our infrastructure, scrape the service, or resell access without our written agreement.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown on our site and may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal. You authorise us to charge your payment method for each renewal. Failed payments may result in suspension of the account until resolved.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. See our cancellation and refund policy for how refunds are handled.
No professional advice
Cost estimates, suggested maintenance intervals, and similar figures are general guidance only. They are not appraisals, inspections, engineering assessments, or legal, tax, or insurance advice. Whether an insurer, buyer, lender, or authority accepts a record you export is entirely their decision. Always confirm permits, code requirements, and coverage with a qualified professional.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and your data intact, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the service. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose; the export function exists for exactly that.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, TexTrack Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will give notice and a chance to export where circumstances reasonably allow.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and where the change is significant we will notify account holders by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Harris County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction.
